Oryead’s sire line features Hickstead, one of the most celebrated show jumpers in history. Hickstead and rider Eric Lamaze won Olympic individual gold and team silver medals at the 2008 Beijing Games, and triumphed in major international Grand Prix competitions including multiple wins at the $1 Million CN International at Spruce Meadows, as well as World Cup and Aachen victories. Hickstead has been ranked as the #1 show jumping horse in the world and was approved for breeding by multiple North American warmblood associations. 
Oryead’s dam line is equally noteworthy. His dam, Uleewa, competed successfully up to 1.45m jumpers and brings influential bloodlines including Nimmerdor and Voltaire—both known for producing scope, athleticism, and trainable temperaments in sport horses. Offspring from this dam line are known for their smart, willing attitudes and exceptional jump technique, featuring strong bascule and tight knees ideal for performance careers.

Donatello turns three this spring, and we are excited for his start under saddle. He already shows outstanding qualities for a future performance horse, including rideability, looseness, athleticism, and an adjustable canter. Donatello is by Darry Lou, a stallion performing at the top levels of international show jumping, known for passing on scope, careful technique, and rideability to his offspring. His sire line, Tangelo vd Zuuthoeve, has produced numerous Grand Prix competitors and is celebrated for its athleticism and trainability.
Dam Line:
Donatello’s dam, Dixia d’Eole, comes from the prestigious Fragrance de Chalus mare line, which also produced elite horses such as Bamako de Muze and Mylord Carthago. Further back, the line includes Ifrane, dam of Morgat, ridden successfully at the Olympic level by Hubert Bourdy. Dixia’s offspring are renowned for their intelligence, careful technique, and excellent jumping style.
