We are very excited to offer One Day, and Three Day Riding Camps for beginner to intermediate riders who want to ride in a fun filled environment. This is a great way to become introduced to horses and the sport of riding. A Day filled with horse riding lesson, stable management, beauty shop with ponies and learning basic care for our equine friends.
At Sprout Meadows we believe that basics of horsemanship helps form the proper foundation needed for riders to succeeded in the world of horses, helping ensuring many happy years with our equine friends.
Safe lesson horses and ponies are provided or bring your own horse. For ages 5yrs plus, must have completed or be in kindergarten. Please contact us for more info and to book a spot as these camps fill up quickly.
Beginner to Intermediate Camps focus on how to catch a horse, groom, tack up and un-tack a horse, and riding lesson following the Equine Canada structure and learning in the English or Western Discipline. 1 day camp $95+ GST- Beginner to Intermediate 3 day camp $285+ GST - Beginner to Intermediate
* registration form along with a $50 deposit is required, the registration form must be completed and sent in with deposit. Full payment must be received the Monday prior to the start date of camp. * all prices are subject to 5% GST * minimum 5 kids required for camps to run

What to bring to camp:
Bottled Water
Riding pants or tighter fitting pants such a leggings work best. If you do not have breeches or leggings, jeans will also work. NO SHORTS or CAPRIS to ride in
Riding boots with a heel. Can be rubber boots, hiking boots. Anything with a 1/4" heel. NO Tennis Shoes or Sandals.
Bring your own lunch, no nuts due to potential allergies of other campers or leaders
Sunscreen
Hat
Change of clothes to hang out in. Shorts, summer stuff
Riding helmets are provided or bring your bike helmet-
New Rider Form(s) - All students are required to complete a waiver and ensure Sprout Meadows has all current contact information on file. Please print off and bring to your first class. Please note Parent or Guardian must sign off for anyone under 19yrs
