Sprout Meadows is a family run facility, owned and operated by Chris and Trish Cowland, where the main priority is creating an environment focused on a horse and riders well being and happiness.
Providing a relaxed, safe and fun environment for both horse and rider on our tranquil farm located just minutes from down town Courtenay.
Sprout Meadows welcomes all levels of riding and ages 4yrs and up. We offer lessons on a school horse/pony or your own mount, lease horses and a planned training program. For Adults and Children with past experience or those wanting to learn.
We currently have six coaches available, for all levels of riding, from Tiny Tot lessons, Learn to Ride Classes, Group Lessons and Private lessons. At Sprout Meadows we want allow others to experience the world and joy of horses so we offer a varfiety of lesson options with a variety of coaching options to best suit your current riding requirement, for fun or competition we offer something for everyone.
Sprout Meadows proudly donates to local charities as well as offering Pony Ride Fundraisers for those in need. We regularly adopt a family at Christmas and support Kids Sport by donating yearly.
Sprout Meadows was a recipient of the Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce Top 40 Under 40 Award for 2014.
